Saraki dismisses corruption allegation, promises transparent Senate

Senate President Bukola Saraki has reacted to the fraud allegation leveled against him, stating that he is commitment to deliver on his mandate by making sound legislations that would impact the lives of Nigerians for the better and would not be compromised by any special interest group.

He said this on his Twitter handle, stressing that the many lies sponsored against his person would not, by any means, change his focus.

Saraki made it clear that transparency and accountability to Nigerians is his priority.

He tweeted Friday: “I’m aware of activities of certain online platforms being sponsored by mischief makers to post all sorts of negative lies against me. No matter the pressure, no special interest group can blackmail 8th Senate to do their bidding, because I am accountable only to Nigerians.”
