Lagos Govt disburses cheques to tanker fire victims

The Lagos State Government has presented cheques to some victims of tanker explosion in parts of the state.

The development is part of the fulfillment of the new administration’s promise to assist victims of tanker explosions in Iyana-Ipaja and Idimu areas of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Oluranti Adebule, made the disbursement of cheques to 243 families on Wednesday at the Igando Rehabilitation Centre, Alimosho.

She also promised to implement the report of the committee set up to investigate the accidents.
