The emergent mega party, All Progressives Congress (APC), has alleged a grand plot by the Presidency and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to rig the 2015 election by disenfranchising the north.

The party claimed that this is the real reason why the federal government prefers to station a Joint Military Task Force (JTF) in the violence-prone parts of the north rather than seek peaceful ways to end the Boko Haram menace. APC however threatened to declare a revolution if violence is used as an excuse not to hold elections in any part of the country in 2015.

According to the arty in a message posted on its Facebook page late yesterday:

“News have just reached us that one of the reason why, the Northern part of Nigeria is been disrupted by JTF is because Jonas, Jega and their team of corrupt fellows are going to declare that the North is not safe for election in 2015.

“It appears that this may be the reason why Jonas “ghost” Boko Haram is still engaged in killing and kidnapping spree in Maiduguri.

“Now, let all ears listen and take note that we SHALL declare a REVOLUTION if ANY section of Nigeria is denied their right to vote for their choice in 2015. Mark my words.”
