Dokubo spits fire, berates critics of Alamieyesigha’s pardon

Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, this afternoon launched a blistering attack on critics of the state pardon granted former Bayelsa State Governor, Chief DSP Alamieyesigha, by the Nigerian Government last week.

Advising President Goodluck Jonathan to ignore the critics, Dokubo, a former rebel leader, said: “One promise we are making is that we are ready and will meet them at the point of their destination.”

Dokubo in a post on his Facebook wall sought to expose the hypocrisy of the critics, writing thus:

“They claim they love MKO and UNILAG was named after him....they protested.
“The same people did not protest when University of Ife was named after Obafemi Awolowo .
“The question I am persuaded to ask is UNILAG not a federal university like University of Ife?
“What qualify Obafemi Awolowo to be so named....and why is MKO not qualified to be so named?
“They claim they are protesting because of corruption but they did not protest when Salisu Buhari was pardon for the Toronto saga.
“They are crying their eyes out over the pardon of Alamieyesigha.....but they are mute over Bulama Shettima.
“Bros GEAJ (Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan) leave dem even if you give dem elephant head you no go satisfy dem. ...But one promise we are making is that we are ready and will meet them at the point of their destination.”
