The second edition of the Agege International Tradefair (AIT2021) is set to hold between July 13 and 19 this year.
AIT2021 will host over 500 vendors and more than 50,000 visitors daily, according to the organisers.
They said in a statement: “The seven days event will feature a business master class, Arewa Day, Fashion Runway parade, special daily activities for Cooking Competition, DJ Competition, Hair Styling Competition, music and dance with loads of cash price giveaways daily.
“AIT2021 market would be officially opened by the Lagos State Speaker, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, alongside Dr. (Mrs.) Lola Akande, Commissioner, Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and industry, and the Iya Oloja General, Mrs Folashade Tinubu. Also expected are about 20 serikis or chiefs, among other dignitaries.”
The event is organised in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce & Industry and supported by the Lagos State Advertising & Signage Agency (LASAA).
“There would be free medical check-up for kids and aged, also giving out free stands to book vendors and authors so as to boost reading culture amongst the youths.
“The event will be broadcast live on national TV, amongst other supporting media houses,” the organisers said.
