Foremost rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, comedian and recording artist, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, has promised to speak on the true state of his health very soon.

The Plateau State-born entertainer was in the news earlier in the week as having been diagnosed with throat cancer and was purportedly battling for survival in a US hospital.

One of his aides however debunked the cancer story but admitted that the artiste who will turn 45 years old in November was in a hospital in Lagos for health related issues.

Sound Sultan who is regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern hip hop music in Nigeria

posed in a photo with members of his immediate family – wife and three children – on Sallah day, Thursday, which was Eid Mubarak.

He posted the family photo on his Instagram page.

While thanking his friends, relations and professional colleagues for showing love to him concerning his widely reported ill health, he promised that he will soon open up on his true health status.

“I must not ignore the massive show of love. Thank you all. I will tell you my story myself. It will be true then, not false,” he said.
