Regina Askia speaks on murder of Akwa Ibom job seeker

Veteran actress Regina Askia-Williams

Former Miss Nigeria (1989) and veteran actress now residing in the United States of America, Regina Askia-Williams (nee Imaobong Regina Askia Usoro) is sad.

The 54 years old University of Lagos graduate and mother of two daughters now a nurse practitioner is not happy about the recent rape and murder of a job seeker, Miss Iniobong Umoren, in Akwa Ibom State, Regina’s home state.

The hazel-eyed actress and former model is also not happy that her home state is trending for the wrong reasons. Hear her:

“Rest In Peace, beautiful! Akwa Ibom is trending for the wrong reasons. Three sexual violence deaths in as many months? We all must speak out against this. Name and shame perpetuators. #justiceforiniobong.”
