On Sunday, April 18, popular Nigerian singer, songwriter and performer, Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo professionally known as KCee, turned 42.

And the Limpopo crooner from Uli, Anambra State celebrated his birthday with pomp and gantry.

His birthday party held at his Lagos home was well attended, including Nollywood star, Zubby Azubuike Michael Egwu, professionally known as Zubby Michael.

In a short while during the party, the 46 years old actor and producer also from Anambra State, took the center stage.

First, the Special Adviser on Media to the Anambra State governor,

Willie Obiano handed cash of N1million to the celebrant. KCee quickly put the money aside while the two of them were dancing.

Next, Zubby started spraying KCee and thereafter continuously threw huge bundles of One Thousand Naira notes in the air for more than 30 minutes.

But fans saw the actor's action as being reckless with money. Many questioned the source of his money just as some others outrightly attacked him verbally while commenting on the video of the party posted by KCee on his Instagram page.

“Na wa o. I wonder where these people see money o,” said one of his fans.

Another fan said, “This Michael sef.”

“Idiots. People are dying on empty stomach, you are here showing off.

Use that money in the right place before it’s too late,” another fan thundered.

And yet another of his fans said, “Someone is looking for just N500 to eat, no way to get it but you are here playing with money. Try to reach the poor ones, motherless babies homes, etc. They need our help.”

Other verbal attacks on the popular actor include:

“King of madness! I see you, money man.”

“Common bus for my business, I can’t buy. And my mate is here using money as rag.”

“You people are spraying money in your house after you pack it back, abi? Those who need it are on the street.”
