Veteran actress and businesswoman,Oluwabukola Sekinat Ajoke Wright, popularly known as Bukky Wright turned 54 on March 31.

But the amiable Abeokuta, Ogun State-born Economics graduate from the University of Lagos decided to celebrate her birthday on Saturday, April 10.

It was not a run-off-the-mill celebration. The mother of two sons and grandmother who has successfully hidden her marital life from the media all these years since she delved into the movie industry in 1996, was well celebrated at Galveston beach in Lagos.

She was on a convoy of about a hundred black Jeep cars, moving from town to the beach with everybody spotting white attires.

It was indeed a beautiful scenario, all for Mommy, as she is fondly called by friends and colleagues.

At the end of the day, the screen idol had this to say: “To everyone that supported me and to all that came out to Galveston beach last Saturday, I say thank you so much for all the gifts. They have not stopped coming. I open at least a box of gift everyday since my birthday. God will honor and bless you all.”
