Heavyweight wrestling champion, Oladimeji Ojo, professionally known as Randy Preyer
Last Sunday was the birthday of Akure, Ondo State-born heavyweight wrestling chiampion, Oladimeji Ojo, professionally known as Randy Preyer.
To mark his birthday, the muscular wrestler who in 2019 won the Tokyo Heavyweight Championship, took everyone by surprise.
Preyer, who travelled to Japan 10 years ago where he developed interest in wrestling and has been doing well, winning laurels over the years, on his birthday bought two brand new Porsche cars – one of grey colour and the other black.
He surprised his younger brother when the two cars were driven in and he handed the key of the black car to his younger brother.
The brother could not comprehend. He became ecstatic.
The German machine goes for as high as $99, 000 (about N56million) in price.
Recall that when he won the Tokyo Heavyweight Championship in 2019, Preyer had dedicated victory to Davido.
“I’m dedicating my championship belt to Davido @davidoofficial, OBO himself, who has against all odds shown you can become anything in life if you pursue your goals. He has been and will continue to be an inspiration to young ones in the world.
“I’m also dedicating this belt to the Executive Governor of Ondo State Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN). Thank you all for standing by me,” he said.
He went on to advise the youth on how to be successful in life:
“Whenever anyone tells you it's impossible, tell them you can do it. As long as you remain focused, resilient, determined and undistracted, you can move mountains. With this position and opportunity, I will empower more people and touch many lives.”
