Alibaba
Veteran stand-up comedian and actor, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, professionally known as Alibaba, is not happy with the role played and utterances made by Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi over the prevailing insecurity in the country.
Gumi was recently interviewed on a national television where he castigated his interviewers for referring to Boko Haram insurgents, Fulani herdsmen and bandits as criminals.
After watching the interview, the 55-year-old Warri, Delta State-born Religious Studies and Philosophy graduate from Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma, could not hold back his anger.
The father of five screamed on his social media handles:
“What is government waiting for? Arrest this man and prosecute him.
“How can he say a bunch of heartless people who kidnapped, raped, killed, burnt and ransacked (sic) Nigerians should not be called criminals?
“On a national television faaa!!! No naaaaaa.”
Is the government listening or is Alibaba talking to himself?
