The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hasextended the tenure of the Zonal Caretaker Committees across the sixgeo-political zones, pending its March 6 Zonal Congresses.

National Publicity Secretary of PDP Kola Ologbondiyan, said in a statement made available to journalists on Sunday: “The decision of the NWC is consequent to the expiration of the tenure of the various caretaker committees”.

Also, the statement said the North Central Zonal Caretaker Committee has been charged with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs and administration of the Niger State Chapter of the party pending the holding of its state congress.
