Perhaps in reaction to, and as a way to counter the newly formed Stingy Men Association of Nigeria (SMAN), Nollywood actresses have come up with their own concept called “The Rich Gang”.

The gang is all about empowering the female folks to be independent of the men folks. And one way of achieving this is through fashion designing and other crafts.

Actress Onyi Alex on Monday posed on the social media in a sexy outfit made by her and said: “Ladies, we ain’t chasing the rich n*****, we are becoming them”.

Her acting colleague and bosom friend, Uche Elendu quickly supported by adding,

“Rich Gang”.

But a guy quickly countered them saying: “Weda you become them or not, na still cucumber go still go in there! We too get value, not just money, my dear. Make your mind rest.”

I must confess that I am lost at this point, honestly.

We are however awaiting the reaction of members of SMAN to the formation of The Rich Gang.
