Music star Duncan Mighty
Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu was one of the guest artistes at the memorial concert held recently in honour of the late high life maestro, Jim Rex Lawson, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The moment the 37 years old musician, singer, and music producer from Obio-Akpor, Rivers State mounted stage, fans at the show went near berserk.
Recall that his musical style demonstrates a high-level of genre versatility, it is also heavily influenced by the sounds and culture of his people as most of his songs are sung in his native Ikwerre language.
Wene Mighty who released his debut full-length album “Koliwater” in 2008, and which was a commercial success went back memory lane as he performed songs such as “Ijeoma”, “Scatter My Dada”, “Ako Na Uche”, etc.
At the end of the day, the husband of Vivian and father of three children said in satisfaction:
“So happy to perform with the best band Daddy Egede my master.”
