Comedian, musician and social media influencer, Tunde Ednut

Nigeria's popular comedian, musician, blogger and social media influencer last weekend literally set the internet on fire as he returned with a bang.

The Kogi State-born Graphic Arts graduate from the University of Lagos made a return to the Instagram on Sunday, January 3 with a new account named @kingtundeednut, and like wild fire, he hit 500,000 followers within four hours.

Recall that Maggie's Blog reported on Dec 29, 2020 how Nollywood diva, Uche Elendu campaigned for the return of the celebrity blogger after he was blocked by Instagram.

Tunde was particularly excited with the hot reception from his teeming followers on his return on Sunday. He instantly made a promise of One Million Naira to one lucky winner for the next day (Monday).

He later hit an unprecedented 800,000 followers under 24 hours and promised to buy a car for one lucky follower to be selected at random if he hits one million followers within the week.

“If I get 500,000 followers today, I will give just one person 1 million naira. If I hit 1 million followers by this week, I will give just one person a car. No be expensive car o! Just a car to be used in supporting your business before God gives you a big one. God never fails," he promised on Sunday.

Top celebrities who welcomed Ednut back to Instagram include BBNaija Lockdown edition winner, Olamilekan Agbeleshie a.k.a Laycon, music stars Duncan Mighty and David Adedeji Adeleke a.k.a Davido, among others.
