American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke professionally known as Davido has gotten himself a new past-time.

What OBO Baddest (as he is fondly called by fans) does is that every morning when he wakes up, he listens to audio messages from preachers and motivational speakers to inspire him to “get to the top”.

Close pals say that is what the music star from Osun State has been doing for some time now.

And he personally confirmed this on Thursday when he posted works of a popular preacher, Joel Osteen, on the social media and wrote:

“Started this morning off with my man @joelosteen he be preaching facts.”

Joel Osteen is one speaker who says his works are meant to “inspire people to reach their dreams and live their best life”. Osteen has 4.4 milliion followers on Instagram.

But if one may ask, which top is Davido trying to reach? Is it in his music career? Is he eyeing politics? And does it have any connection with his recent hint of quitting music soon?
