Sunday, November 8 was birthday of veteran actor and movie director, Ejike Asiegbu.

The former president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) who was also appointed as personal assistant to former Biafran leader, Odumegwu Ojukwu during the 1994 National Constitutional Conference in Abuja, spent all day dancing the ZANKU dance with his children at home, the videos of which he posted on the social media.

A major highlight of the day of celebration by the Abia State-born Theatre Arts graduate from the University of Port Harcourt was the encomium the sitting president of AGN, Emeka Rollas, poured on him.

“It has been the tradition of the Presidency of the Actors Guild of Nigeria to celebrate past National Presidents of our noble Guild in a special way!

“Today we bring you an enigma, the man we refer to as Rabi. Former National President who paved the way for AGN.

“Under his regime AGN enjoyed more visibility, he got the first AGN office at 17 Ajao road furnished it and got AGN the first official vehicle.

“I worked with him as Senior Special Adviser on political matters I wish you a blissful birthday and enjoin members to celebrate Rabi on this day.

“Happy Birthday sir, enjoy your new age. May God grant you all your heart desires,” Rollas wrote on behalf of all Nigerian actors.
