Nigeria’s highest paid actor, James Ikechukwu Esomugha, popularly known as Jim Iyke, has joined the many entertainers in the country in the ongoing #EndSARS protests.

The 44 years old native of Ogwugwu village in Enugu Agidi town of Anambra State who was born in Libreville, Gabon posted on Wednesday his picture on his Instagram page holding a poster with inscription:

“SARS to SWAT is like JIM to IYKE. What is the difference?”

The Philosophy graduate from the University of Jos went on to say: “Got back in town and jumped into it (protest). The voice of the people is as powerful as the force of nature. SARS was discommissed, SWAT was commissioned. All in less than 24 hours. Who are they fooling? Certainly not us. Our voices will continue to demand and claim our birthrights. Pictures speak a thousand words... SWAT is low budget SARS.”
