US-born Nigerian music star, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has made some heartwarming promises to a female artiste by name Liya and referred to her as “First Lady”.

The 27-year-old Dancehall and Afro pop music crooner from Osun State who calls himself OBO (Omo Baba Olowo) made the solemn vows after the formal sign on ceremony of Liya to his DMW label on Friday, October 2 in Lagos.

The father of three daughters from different women said: “Welcome officially to the party! DMW first lady. @yes_liya from here it’s onwards and upwards. On this day I make this promise to you: Imma make you a global star.”

Liya is the first female on the label. Her album is titled “Trust Issues” produced by Zak Magic. She is an Afro pop singer and songwriter.

Her album contains a super single with title, “Be my vibe”.
