Former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been begged to step forward and contest for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during the next political dispensation in 2023.

The African Youths for Change Forum made the plea yesterday, Thursday, October 1, 2020, during a crowded World Press Conference in Lagos addressed by the President of the body, Prince Hammed Olanrewaju Mohammed, who doubles as the Vice President of Current World Wrestling Federation headquartered in Vienna, Austria.

According to him, “this is a Forum is teeming Nigerians and African Youths are leading the crusade to enthrone good leadership in Nigeria our bid as Youths and our responsibility in the process of selecting and electing who will lead the nation from year 2023 to consolidate the works currently being done by President Muhammadu Buhari so far,” he further informed.

However, Mohammed insisted that Buhari has no doubt laid solid foundation of good governance with arrears of dividends of democracy that is seen in six geo-political zones of the country and for these works to be consolidated he posited a leader who will cut across all ethnic divides must be elected come 2023.

“In short, we need and must encourage a Pan- Nigerian leader not a Yoruba, man, not Igbo man or an Hausa or anybody that comes any who thinks he comes from any part of the ethnic groups in the s county. Therefore, we deeply looked into the sterling qualities amongst our political leaders of this generation who foremost possesses to build bridges of unity, oneness, equity, fair play and spirit of nationhood to fill the gap of North and South, a true leader who has practically proven to be a Pan Nigerian who has the character to unite Nigerian and Nigeria and the cap and the crown perfectly fits the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Mohammed restated.

The African Youths for Change Forum supremo, called on all and sundry to rally round Tinubu who has proved his prowess in economic management and administration which he laid solidly in Lagos from 1999 to 2007 has remained the pivot for successive administration in the State till date which he would replicate in the entire country if elected President come 2023.

In her remarks, Majority Leader Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Mrs. Grace Nwankwo- Okere described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a detribalized Nigerian political leader, adding that the APC leader encourages young people and never minding any part of Nigeria you may have come from insisting that such leader is what the nation need in 2023 pointing out that we need not look too far to grab such asset and Pan Nigerian in Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu who would use his wide exposure and experience in the management of human and material resources to lift the country and her teeming populace to safer anchor.

“As true lover of youths the national leader of APC would no doubt reenact what he knows best to do by ensure all inclusiveness of the youths in all facets of the country profitably as he has shown till date. His coming in as President of this country in 2023 would serve as great impetus for the increasing number of the youths in the country. I am enjoining all Nigerian youths to join the earnest call on former Governor of Lagos State to contest for the Presidency in 2023 as messiah,” she said.
