Senator Rochas Okorocha has rued the performance deficit of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) despite the laudable programmes of President Mohammadu Buhari aimed to turn the narrative, blaming the gap on leaders of APC and the party itself for failing to take the program of government to the grassroots.

The former Imo state governor has therefore asked the President to adopt sterner ‘Hire and Fire’ approach in governance so as to impact positive changes in the polity as his second tenure thin out.

The lawmaker representing Imo West in upper legislative chamber expressed the concern when he received NEC of the Non NWC members of the All Progressives Congress aka Integrity Group ,Monday at the Unity House in Abuja.

He lamented that despite the efforts of Buhari as an individual , a yawning gap still persist between his good intentions and massive unemployment, Hunger and deprivation, out of school figures which he said translates to the insecurity, and other vices ravaging the society.

He regrets that APC as party and some of its leaders have not help in anywayin helping sell the programmes of the party to Nigerians for there own selfish reasons.

According to him much could have been achieved by the administration if leaders have not allowed party programmes hanging in Abuja.(Daily Independent)
