On Thursday, veteran actor and singer popularly known as Black Arrow, a name which he gained from a role he played in “Silent Night” many years ago, Segun Aina Arinze turned 55.

The actor born in Onitsha, Anambra State to a Yoruba father (Badagry, Lagos State) and an Igbo mother used the day to offer thanksgiving to God for his life.

The father of one daughter by name Renny, a product of his union with his estranged wife and an equally Nollywood star, Anne Njemanze, said:

“It can only be you Baba God. No one else. I praise and worship you. I give you all the glory and honour. Thank you Father God for another year added. Happy birthday to me.”

And on his photo frame was boldly displayed: “Segun Arinze @55”
