Actress, movie director and model, Stephanie Okereke, has landed a big deal with the United Nations (UN).

The runner up for the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty pageant of 2002 who was honoured by the Nigerian government in 2011 with a national honour of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic, MFR gave a hint of her new status on Thursday.

The 38 years old Ngor Okpala, Imo State-born mother of one and wife of Linus Idahosa posted a picture on her Instagram page, posing with UNFPA Nigeria’s Country Rep, Miss Ulla Mueller.

The University of Calabar and New York Film Academy graduate wrote:

“I look forward to working with this dynamic, hardworking woman who is not afraid to do the needful to make a change.”

UNFPA coordinates volunteers working with the UN around the world, volunteers serving under organisations, or simply serving where it’s needed in the communities.

Its function is Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality through volunteerism.

The agency believes that volunteerism is extraordinary things done by ordinary people.

It will be recalled that Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State recently appointed Stephanie an Ambassador for the state’s tree planting campaign.
