The cracks in the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) appears to be deepening as some high-profile members of the party visited Anambra-born business mogul, Prince Arthur Eze, in Abuja.

The visit came barely a few days after Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano and leader of the party traveled out of the country.

Information has it that a notable APGA chieftain, Chief Ben Obi, led the delegation of other party chieftains who were fully dressed in the party’s outfit.

Recall that the Governor, whose budding relationship with Arthur Eze had soured, suspended 12 traditional rulers in the state for embarking on a trip to Abuja that was facilitated by the businessman.

In his reaction on Sunday to the visit, the Anambra State Chairman of APGA, Norbert Obi, said that those that embarked on the trip did so without the party’s knowledge.

He added: “Governor Obiano did not send any delegation to anybody and was not aware of such visit.

“We, the party leadership, didn’t know of such trip. Those who made the trip are on their own.”
