Veteran actor, Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, professionally known as Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK) is angry with the new generation suitors.

According to the Mbaise, Imo State-born actor who recently graduated from the Law School, he gets angry each time he sees a young man kneeling down on the streets, restaurants etc to propose marriage to a lady.

Call him old school if you like, but the 58-year-old United Nations Ambassador who made his debut movie appearance in Living in Bondage in 1992 calls such way of marriage proposal “Emotional blackmail”.

To him, “Marriage no be by force.”

To show how serious he takes the matter, Professor Johnbull staged a live discussion with his Instagram followers earlier this week.

On his invitation he said: “Hello friends, please be available at 7pm today (Monday) as I talk to you live on the issue of marriage proposal on the streets, restaurants etc . . . before it gets out of hand.”
