Former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has castigated incumbent president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, in his new autobiography, My Watch.

Prince Buruji Kashamu, Chairman, Mobilisation and Organisation Committee, South-West Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had obtained a court order to stop the publication of the three-volume book. A report this morning by Nigerian Tribune however said that the book has gone on sale despite the court order.

The book, which chronicles the life and activities of Obasanjo from birth till this year, devotes significant pages to paint an unflattering portrait of President Goodluck Jonathan.

It described President Jonathan as selfish, weak-willed, callous and incapable of rising to the challenges of running a complex country like Nigeria.

Obasanjo accused the president of surrounding himself with aides and political associates with corrupt tendencies.

The book also castigates the late president, Alhaji Umaru Yar’Adua; former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and former governors of Delta and Kwara states, James Ibori and Bukola Saraki, respectively, among other political foes.
