The Federal High Court, Awka, will this afternoon deliver judgement in a suit seeking to disqualify and nullify the election of Governor Willie Obiano over alleged submission of false voter’s card in his INEC’s Form CF001 Sworn Affidavit under Section 31 (1) to (6) of the Amended Electoral Act 2010.

Ruling in the suit filed by a human rights lawyer, Mr. Jezie Ekejiuba, is expected to be delivered around 1pm.

The Presiding Judge, Justice Isah Gafai, had on October 23 fixed judgement without a date after the parties in the dispute had addressed the court and adopted their Written Addresses.

Obiano, APGA, Prof. Chukwuemeka Onukaogu and INEC were joined as defendants in the Suit No. FHC/AWK/CS/269/2013.

In it, Ekejiuba argues that Obiano allegedly submitted false voter’s card in his Form CF001 Sworn Affidavit for the November 2013 Anambra State Governorship Election, which he eventually won.

Ekejiuba contends that Obiano’s card with registration number ending with 332 which he submitted is false because it is neither his voter’s card with registration number ending with 172, which he admitted he registered in Lagos, nor his voter&rs
