The Keynote Speaker at the Ota 2 of the 2014 Convention series of Jehovah’s Witnesses has declared that nothing can stop the coming of God’s Kingdom.

Delivering the Keynote Address entitled ‘Highly Esteem Present Kingdom Blessings’, Daniel Oyong Ayim said that the coming of God’s Kingdom is not negotiable because Jehovah God who has promised it is the Almighty whose will must always prevail.

Quoting from Titus 1:2, Oyong said: “God cannot lie.” He made a clear distinction between God and politicians, saying: “Politicians usually make promises, but they are often not kept. This has led to many people being disappointed. Jehovah has made arrangement for a Kingdom. He will keep his promises. Even if he made them long ago, they will never fail. He will keep them.”

In the circumstances, “No matter what happens, we are very confident that that Kingdom will surely come,” the speaker stated.

He echoed the Bible’s assurance that the Kingdom will bring countless blessings, pointing out that even now “obeying Kingdom commands has led many to clean up their lives, thus living better lives.” He further pointed to peace of mind and freedom from unnecessary fears and anxieties as some of the other blessings already being enjoyed by those who live in expectation of the Kingdom.

The Convention, which has as theme, ‘Keep Seeking First God’s Kingdom!’, continues tomorrow. A total of 12 conventions are scheduled to hold at the Ota Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
