The website of Nigeria’s leading tabloid Sun has been hacked by a group calling itself TeaM Nigerian Cyber Army, which purports to have done so in connection with the April 14 kidnap of over 200 students of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, by Boko Haram terrorists.

It is not yet known why Sun was targeted by the hackers. An sms sent to Sun Editor Onuoha Ukeh was yet t be replied obviously due to the fact that he might not to wake from sleep.

When News Express logged into www.sunnewsonline.com around 4am, what appeared was the following message that completely covered the Home page:

On the night of 14 - 15 April 2014, 276 female students were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria. The kidnappings were claimed by Boko Haram, an Islamic Jihadist and terrorist organization based in northeast Nigeria. As of 29 June, more than 200 students were still missing. Boko Haram has said that they wants to sell the girls. The Nigerian government has been heavily criticised for failing to protect the population and end Boko Haram terrorist actions!!
