The National President of the Niger Delta Youth For Good Governance (NDYFGG), Comr. Lucky O.O Ukueku, has commended High Chief Dr. Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, and congratulated the National Executives of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement on their successful inauguration.

In a statement personally signed and issued to newsmen on Friday, Comr. Ukueku said:

"I sincerely appreciate High Chief Dr. Oweizide Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo, for his large heart in accommodating all Niger Deltans and for rallying support for the current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration. Indeed, Tompolo has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the success of this administration, to Nigeria, and to the Niger Delta."

Comr. Ukueku further stated that without unity and peace, there can be no Nigeria. "Tompolo stands for the unity and peace of all Nigerians. That is the symbol of our nation, and that is what Tompolo represents."

"Yesterday, because of the honor and respect the Niger Delta and Nigeria have for Tompolo, Abuja was filled to capacity with his admirers and supporters. This should send a clear message to the Tinubu Administration that Tompolo is a mobilizer who has the interest of all Nigerians at heart," he said.

Speaking on leadership, Comr. Ukueku noted: "The truth is always bitter. That is why good intentions hardly yield immediate results. This explains why some leaders fall for blackmail and sycophancy. It takes a God-fearing leader to identify those who genuinely desire their success."

He added that High Chief Dr. Oweizide Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo, has consistently worked to build strong leadership across Nigeria, particularly in the Niger Delta. "He is a man of large heart and humility. Only those with malicious intent engage in blackmail against him, and no reasonable Niger Deltan will take such cheap blackmail seriously."

Comr. Ukueku also congratulated the newly inaugurated National Executives of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement. He urged them to hit the ground running, remain focused on the purpose of the forum, and ensure they reach out to all stakeholders and grassroots leaders.

He concluded by reaffirming NDYFGG’s commitment to peace, unity, and good governance in Nigeria.
