Cardi B and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye attracted attention with a joint appearance at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday.

The pair attended the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show.

Videos from the event showed Okoye escorting Cardi B to her seat as photographers captured the moment before they took their seats for the runway presentation.

The duo was also seen at the Messika showcase later during the fashion week.

Their appearance quickly went viral on social media, with many fans praising their fashion choices and relaxed demeanour. Cardi B’s red outfit at the Gaultier show was also widely recognised as one of the standout looks of the event.

Okoye, who plays for Udinese Calcio, has increasingly made appearances at fashion and lifestyle events outside football.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper, who was born in Germany to a Nigerian father, made his Super Eagles debut in 2019.

He began his professional career in Germany before joining Sparta Rotterdam, where he was named Player of the Season for the 2020/21 campaign.

Okoye moved to Watford F.C. in 2022 before signing for Udinese in 2023, where he has established himself as one of Nigeria’s leading goalkeepers. (The Nation)
