The problems the country, Nigeria, is facing today is caused by the arrogance and ineptitude of the so-called Northern leaders. They have foolishly and wickedly arrogated the right to rule to themselves. They never considered the temperance and dispositions of other ethnic groups and components of the federation. They have always imposed their will against the others with utter disrespect to the constitution and rule of law, based on their numerical strength. They forgot that the constitution contained other provisions that limit the overriding influence of numerical strength in political issues. The North had always rallied round AREWA myth to echo one voice of the Super North. The South had always reasoned along West and East divergence but today that narrative is changing and the Super North which a few individuals had held the country at juggler, is already jittery. They forced the south to have one voice and that one voice will not silenced again. That means the game is up. Divide and rule is bound to destroy the rulers themselves. They created the monster we call insecurity today. They wanted to destabilize and terminate Jonathan's administration at all cost. Now they can't openly call evil by the name. Many of the so-called leaders have been making unguarded statements of their famed conquest of other ethnic groups and coveting their lands.
