In a as much a agree that the issue of plastic pollution needs to addressed but the language we used to in this regard sounds too serious. I would have suggested continued sensitization instead saying ban and enforcement. We need to get past the military system of getting people do things and adopt collaborative of engaging the citizens.

Even if that was not the story, who will believe? And where is the man to defend himself? He may be set up and killed for any other reason but framed to be having affairs. See, anyone could fall victim just pray you have someone to lift your hand when you are in your weak moment. Dont be too fast to conclude. Move on and dont join the crowd.

There is also the use of the pump to dupe motorist alike. I was a victim at a particular filling station in my area were I wanted to buy 20 litres but was sold 18 litres by the fuel attendant. I noticed it when I got home because I used a keg to buy the fuel. The attendant will use the canopy to cover the dispenser price and litre reader from ur view and do their dubious act. And if u want to avoid being cheated upon, do not tell the fuel attendant you want to buy in accurate price, but rather, go for litre purchase, that way, u might not fall victim and again, always look at the dispenser as they discharge the product to u.
God bless Nigeria for us all.

I'm convinced that most Nigerians can't just read and understand. There must be very dark vail over their Minds. Can you imagine! How come many leaves the very Clear message and the matter it tries to address but choose to attack the Messenger. It is either you're all culprits of the same evil practice and fear being exposed further or that you're deliberately being foolish all in your bid to defend political affiliation without recourse to the benefit of such write-up if it gets to the appropriate quarters for Action. Nigerians! Too many bad eggs are in thee. Purge yourselves!

I heard someone say don't blame govt and who else should we blame.
Doesn't the govt have agencies to crack such act and punish stations that are engaging in such act. The unfortunate thing is that the same govt agencies collect bribes and even govt own NNPC stations are also doing same.

This editorial is a bigger display of what's wrong with Nigeria. An onerous and worthless piece of filibuster which achieves nothing. Makes promises and delivers trash. You should be ashamed of yourself for this piece of crap. You are a big part of the problem. A professional who does not know his work is not worth his weight in paper talk less of Gold.

Why are we always looking for faults. We always expect someone to give us EVERYTHING. Even when they give their best, we still look for what they did not give. Let's continue from where the writer stops and make further findings on our own. We have criticized everyone except ourselves. Good morning.

What do you expect in a society where intelligence or brilliance is judged by how well one can speak or write foreign language better than the original owner of the language. We depend on Non English speaking Chinese for rail and road projects. Go figure. Loll.

What are you guys complaining about? He clearly explained how it was done by fuel pumps being doctored to shortchange buyers in terms of the quantity dispensed. Meaning they adjust the fuel pump to dispense lesser than what is being paid for and he also gave an instance where you pay for 30litres but 20litres got dispensed, shorting you about 10 litres of fuel..
