The allegations should be investigated by the Senate while Akpabio should step aside as the Senate president throughout the investigation period. If found guilty he should be penalized to serve as a deterrent to others in power. If the allegations were false, Natasha should also be punished for levelling such a serious allegations against a public officer The matter should not be swept under the carpet.
