This is a frantic ranting of a tribal jingoist. How can anybody in his functioning mind compare Amotekun to Boko Haram or IPOB? Amotekun is not aimed at the dismemberment of Nigeria, like Boko Haram and IPOB, and it has no political intent whatsoever. It’s about securing the lives and properties of the people of the region. We were all witnesses to the rape, assault, carnage and multiple murders inflicted on the people of the South west by the Fulani herdsmen and other anti-social quota of the Nigerian nation. How can an outfit set up to defend the lives and properties of a people be a national threat? The guilty are always afraid. Who should be afraid of Amotekun except the guilty ones? The South west governors are on the right path and, in fact, should intensify their efforts. Who are those governors that would watch and fold their arms while their people are being raped and slaughtered with reckless abandon while the state security operatives appear helpless, clueless and ineffectual?

I have personally encountered Bishop Emeka Nwankpa and I think this write up is an understatement. I witnessed Bishop Emeka Nwankpa single out a blind widow who was shouting from a huge crowd for help and on the spot decided to build her a house and in the mean time gave her a huge amount of money for upkeep.
