The people of Niger Delta should appreciate and give Kudos to Mr. President for signing the Bill into law. To start with, PIB has been with in National assembly for so many years including Jonathan's regime, non of them have the courage to sign the Bill into law and Buhari did it without too much ado. The Bill is actually going to end all the corruption going on in the petroleum sector. Secondly, the 3% is on the cost of explorations which is substantial compare to percentage based on profits. The 13% derivations allocation for petroleum development areas and NDDC to cater for infrastructures and development of Niger Delta are still part of largesse for Niger Delta region. Honestly, what the people of Niger Delta should do is to go after those contractors that collected money and failed to execute the contracts for the development of Niger Delta. I think they are the biggest enemies of Niger Delta people and majority of them are from the region.
