This is part of the problem. Why are you adding "controversial" to the bill? What makes it controversial? Because you want to be in Buhari's good books, right? The bill is the wish and total desire of the entire southern people, so how can you say it is controversial?

That is APC's brand of democracy. Any form of criticism is perceived as attack and insult on their regime.

State laws are mini federal laws and as such, must be enforced by police run by federal govt since d states do not run d police and do not have anything in place of that that is as active as d federal police in d states. It is not enough to draw a simile from northern Hisbah to use ineffective Ebubeagu or Amotekun to enforce d laws, bcus Hisbah was unconstitutional and moreover if these outfits are used, chances are that they may conflict with federal police on "federal duty" and thereby cause more harvoc and confusion than provide d needed solution. And what is "federal duty", you may ask? The "federal duty" is that d federal never supported d laws and had been neckdeep in activating grazing routes which is a counter or opposition to state ban on open grazing.

Another set of avoidable deaths! Seven people complained of similar feelings after ingesting similar substances should have made hospital their next port of call or at least taken Antipoison such as coconut water or bitter kola or combination of both. May their souls rest in peace.

It is not that the criminal elements in the society are more in number and superior in strength to the law abiding citizens but institutional principles of security favour these criminal elements: the ethnic and religious fanatics with skewed and convoluted doctrines in the national security apparatuses covertly aid the crises. The victims of these crises very often would tell the tales of how security forces would not respond to calls on security threats or how they would stand aloof while these mayhems go on. This is another great evil dimension of security challenges in Nigeria.

It is highly regrettable that a high state office could beat about the bush in an answer to a simple question, ' why has the government of President Muhammad Buhari refused to designate bandits and killed herdsmen terrorists'? What is more terrifying than kidnap of hundreds of school children from their hostels and threatening to kill them all if ransoms are not paid on their heads? What is more terrifying than groups armed persons that invade and kill hundreds of hapless villagers in their sleep? What is more terrifying than armed people who waylay wayfarers and kidnap them for ransom? What is more terrifying than a group of armed persons who invade and kill and kidnap people from secured institutions like the militarily formations and institutions? Mr. Garba Shehu, Presidential spokesperson is a diatribist and nothing more. He should be remind that his duty is not defence of his principal but making constructive statements out of his principal's error and contents in correcting public odium of presidents actions.

Very very unethical, illogical as well as selfish write-up. Just recently, innocent muslims travellers were mercilessly massacred, I mean slaughtered and their heads were hammered until their brains bursted out by the christains in Plateau State and was video taped by christains yet this so called ‘civil society said nothing against it. When Ghana was killing Benue people like chickens Ortom was more supportive than condemning him. Many Benue people are still being killed through the TV/Jukun crisis but Ortom doesn't talk of it because he is seeing it as family affair. Indeginous kidnappers are everywhere in the state including those who kidnapped the wife of his commissioner, but no word from him. Each time he opens his mouth it is Buhari and Fulani Herdsmen. What type of hatred is this. For 72 months he didn't pay his workers salary despite the bailouts yet he doesn't see that as a problem. He feels the only way he can promote his political fortunes is by insulting Buhari and Fulani Herdsmen, promoting hate and causing more avoidable deaths.

I don't blame them at all. They are in business and therefore have to increase profits come what may. If the government of this country can at least be serious once with their digital switch over throughout the entire country, a lot of people would have opted out thereby forcing multi choice to reconsider.

There is nothing like Federal Police supervising state police formations rather the law establishing them will define their areas of operations and modus operandi. The Nigerian Senate does not supervise the House of Reps and NASS do not supervise or regulate State Houses of Assembly, Federal Universities do not supervise State Universities, etc.

Worst days are here with us again. Decree 4 is veiled with NBC parastatal. It is time the press and the public stand up against this government and make #endsars a child's play. Why should hosts/presenters of a program be held accountable for allegations or statements of an interviewee. Gov Orton blamed President Buhari's clueless government for the gruesome events in his state and NBC is queering it. Rted Brigadier Olawunmi made some allegation in the Arise TV and NBC has been interrogation the staff for performing their lawful duty.

Nigerian Presidency is association of market women who revel and engage in altercations, fighting for supremacy without an opponent. Gov Ortom made statement out of frustration of the obvious happenings in his area of jurisdiction which he should be able to control but couldn't because of the Presidency's administration cluelessness. Instead of proper rationalisation of the Governor's statement, the Presidency went all out to attack the man. Its all about the bad workman that finds fault not only with his tools but also with good counsels.
