How could Jamb Registra blame the students for their inability to register without stress when he knows very well of Jamb inefficiency to provide good network services for the registration?. Why should Jamb and service providers extract #50 per text message even when they send the profile code or not. Normal text message charge is #4, when they know that millions of students are doing the registration, considering bulk messages involve, the cost suppose to be reduced to #2 @ most. Jamb is using every means to extort money from our Jambites. This registration can be done by the students and parents at the comfort of their homes, so far they have access to internet. They will risk their lives to a very far places just to register for Jamb, taking days and weeks to complete the stuff. Jamb don't put into consideration the insecurity in Nigeria and the cost of transportation now. Some spend more than #2000 for transportation to & fro to the CBT centres. We don't talk about non-challant attitude and IM from the CBT centres. Bribe and corruption. No wonder the Registra banned the parents from following their children to the CBT centres last year. Just imagine if this father didn't follow the daughter, by two weeks, the registration won't be done. Instead of registrar to feel sorry and find better way to improve their poor services, he blamed the students. Some, of the students spend up to #2000 while sending their profile code to 55019. Each sending attracts #50. Federal government, senate, house of Assembly should look into this matter. Its not a crime for one to pass through Jamb in Nigeria. These students are being exposed to untold stress from getting NIN number, that one is a story for another day. With the topmost charges they collect yet, you will keep coming from week to week before you can get your NIN number. Some are not validated, then you have to go through another hell to get your NIN validation. After that you que in for another stress of getting profile code, then the almighty trouble @ CBT centres. Just to register Jamb, because we are in Nigeria where nothing works. Most of our law makers their children are in abroad where everything moves smoothly so they don't want to know what the students pass through. The Constitution mentioned lawmakers (judicial arm) and did not mention governors (executive arm), bcus lawmaking or judiciary interpretes intents of d Constitution whereas governors are just executive arm who execute according to d interpreted intents, meaning that once d Constitution mentions d judiciary arm it has also implied the executive arm. A governor cannot defect with his mandate bcus that will amount to legalizing illegality, which is a case of Constitution contradicting itself.
