Some of us in the early 20s came to know Smart Adeyemi as NUJ President when he contested and won for his second term. That was in Lagos delegates conference, in Badagry.
I vividly recall one of the phrase he used during his acceptance speech 'I thank my parents for naming me smrat. if I were not smart, my opponent would have defeated me' he said.
Unfortunately, he has failed to carry his lieutenants and colleagues along his journey live.
And to his future political ambition, its not too late to make amends. That's my take.

This reply is full of wisdom, I think prof Wole Soyinka as a well respected accomplished person is defiating from what he is known and stand for, this alone might reduce the respect accorded to him cus he doesn't stand for the truth rather he is being one-sided, or will I say the older you become the retardation of your moral reasoning. Hmmm prof.....

SASSA (South African Social Security Agency) is a government agency that provides social grants to eligible South African citizens. To receive social grants from SASSA, individuals must meet certain criteria based on their personal circumstances, such as their age, income level, and disabilities.
Once an individual is deemed eligible for a social grant, they can register with SASSA and receive a monthly payment to help cover their basic needs. The amount of the social grant depends on the type of grant and the individual's personal circumstances.
SASSA has various types of social grants, including grants for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children in need. In addition to providing social grants, SASSA also provides social relief during times of crisis, such as natural disasters or pandemics.
To ensure that social grants are distributed fairly and efficiently, SASSA has established a network of local offices and service points throughout South Africa, where individuals can apply for grants, receive assistance with their applications, and collect their payments.

Peter Obi and his obidients should realize that there are patriotic Nigerians who are not obedient to Peter but patriotic to the unity and peace of Nigeria, these patriotic Nigerians who refused to be blindfolded by sentimental movement trooped out in millions to choose their leader in the February 25 2023 presidential election to secure the country from tribal and religious sentimental movement. Why then do you think it's just your minority votes that would determine the winner? Think straight.

This statement by Lt. Col Paul didn't reflect the true picture of deaths and destructions of properties.
Making excuses for election duty by security agents. Were security agents not posted to the respective local government for elections?
Well, this is so unfortunate and we never wish for this kind of inhuman crisis. But, those that bring forth for trouble should be arrested and prosecuted.
My brethren of Obi and Oturkpo should forgive, and let go and continue living in harmony just as it use to be.
Thank you pls.
