Why is he not ready to address the issue of making our refineries work and to effectively check the what is driving the high cost of living among the people? Anticipation of better yield in farm production may not lead to lower food prices because middle men could take advantage of food shortage in the country and the gap between the farmers and consumers to hoard food stuffs and cause short-fall in supply to markets leading to scarcity and keeping food cost high through the harvest season established on rain-fed conditions.
