Third party insurance police has been in existence for long , it's not a new development, many car users and owners already have them. Why are they making it a topic . What IGP should do is to educate road users how to apply insurance when accidents happen because insurance has been smiling to banks all these years because of most road users are not aware of how the insurance works , when vehicles brush each other , insurance should pay but road users are not aware of their rights . IGP kindly go to the right side and educate the masses.

British relationships with there colonies are mostly exploitative. The relationships are master-servant relationships which I think shouldn't be. The condition attached to visas and studies in the uk are very exploitative and unfriendly, I pray someday or in the very near future we shall have competent and patrotic government that will boost our ego and acceptability in the comittee of nations.

Countries formerly colonized by the UK often benefit from privileges like Commonwealth membership, which may include visa-free travel. However, these privileges require bilateral agreements and are not automatic. Nigeria, a Commonwealth member, lacks visa-free access to the UK due to the government's failure to negotiate such terms. This reflects weak diplomatic efforts under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, despite constitutional and international provisions emphasizing foreign policy effectiveness, such as Section 19 of Nigeria's Constitution and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961). Conclusion: The Nigerian government must strengthen its foreign policy to leverage Commonwealth ties and secure better arrangements for its citizens.

According to principles of international law and mutual agreements, countries previously colonized by the United Kingdom often enjoy certain privileges, such as membership in the Commonwealth of Nations, which can include visa-free travel agreements. However, these privileges are not automatic and depend on bilateral agreements and the foreign policies of both nations. Nigeria, as a Commonwealth member, does not automatically qualify for visa-free entry into the UK unless such an agreement is negotiated and signed by both governments. The failure of the Nigerian government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to secure such agreements highlights a lack of effective diplomatic negotiations. Constitutional and Legal Basis: Section 19 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) emphasizes the objectives of Nigeria's foreign policy, which include "promotion of African integration and support for African unity," as well as "respect for international law and treaty obligations." Article 2 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961) outlines that treaties and agreements between nations must be mutually consented to. The exclusion of Nigeria from visa-free status with the UK reflects the Nigerian government’s failure to effectively negotiate its position within the Commonwealth and other international bodies. This is a matter of diplomatic strategy rather than an automatic entitlement based on colonial history. Conclusion: Shame on the Nigerian government for not leveraging its Commonwealth membership and historical ties with the UK to secure better travel arrangements for its citizens. This underscores the need for stronger and more effective foreign policy under President Tinubu's administration.

The only reason why that portal is giving problems is because theres too much traffic in the portal as thousands of applicants are trying to apply, some were successful in applying while some were unsuccessful just like what Hon leke abejide said only those who passed the first stage will proceed to the next stage that means those who are competent will make it through to the last stage fellow applicants try your best and do what you are capable of to the best of your abilities cause I believe hard work and persistent always pay may God Almighty be with us through to the end.
