It is too unfortunate that the Senate should be in a haste to give their verdict. You don't throw away the baby with the birth water no matter the circumstance. Yes, you have a standing rule, and even if violated, there is a very serious allegation against the Senate President. This, by every standard, needs to be investigated and all given a fair hearing to clear the Senate. Note that you are the representatives of the people and cannot turn yourselves into Lords of the same people. The allegations should be investigated by the Senate while Akpabio should step aside as the Senate president throughout the investigation period. If found guilty he should be penalized to serve as a deterrent to others in power. If the allegations were false, Natasha should also be punished for levelling such a serious allegations against a public officer The matter should not be swept under the carpet.

The NDDC woman that slapped Akpabio over sexual harassment in 2022,Does she also has six children for different men? Akpabio should be probed over the sexual allegation period. Her personal life with any man she deem fit to have kids with has nothing to do with this.
