Expect sunny and hazy conditions today in the North, clouds and isolated thunderstorms in other parts of the country: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Friday, April 29, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over some places like Nguru, Potiskum and Maiduguri while other areas will be partly cloudy during the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 27-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated in the morning. There are chances of isolated thunderstorms over some parts of the high ground areas of this region during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 25-28oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected over the coastal and inland cities in the morning, while localised thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon/evening period over Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Calabar and Owerri. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.
