Two Nollywood stars who are very angry with the ongoing lockdown as a result of the novel pandemic COVID-19 are Ufuoma McDermott and Omoni Oboli.
The two actresses could not suppress their anger at the lockdown for spoiling their respective birthday.
Omoni's birthday was on Wednesday, April 22 when she turned 42.
The Benin, Edo State-born Foreign Languages graduate from the University of Benin and mother of three was very bitter when unlike other years, she could not through a big bash to mark her birthday.
On her own part, actress, presenter and movie producer/director, Ufuoma Stacy McDermott (nee Ejenobor) who was also born in Benin but hails from Delta State turned 39 on Thursday, April 23.
The Master’s degree holder in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos and mother of two almost wept when she said: “Why the hell should this coro ruin our (and Omoni) excuse for two days of partying as we use to do every year?”
The two actresses who many see as lovebirds in the industry however took to their social media accounts to console each other with sweet words.
Omoni told Ufuoma:
“I love that you are my baby sister. I love that my birthday rolls into yours. I love that I can always share a laugh with you and cry if need be@ufuomamcdermott. Happy birthday my darling. You are an amazing human and God bless the day we became sisters. You will always be the baby sister I never had and I am blessed to have you. May God bless you and may all you touch turn to gold. I am always in your corner. Love you always.”
And Ufuoma responded rather briefly, “Love you madddd sis. I’m blessed to have you in my corner@omonioboli.”
Well, what else can we say than to advise you, birthday babes, and all others to exercise patience for coronavirus to take its leave then you can party till you can party no more.
Happy birthday ladies!
