Osun CP visits Alapomu, pledges to do more to guarantee safety of lives and property

Osun State Commissioner of Police, Babatunde Johnson Kokumo, has paid a courtesy visit to Oba Kayode Afolabi, the Alapomu of Apomu.

Welcoming the state police chief to his palace on Wednesday, the Alapomu commended him for the remarkable improvement in security and peaceful atmosphere in the state. He noted that kidnapping and banditry had reduced in the state since Kokumo took over as the Commissioner of Police.

The Alapomu advised Kokumo not to relent in the good job he is doing.

In his response, CP Kokumo thanked the State Government for giving him the needed support to perform and promised to do more to guarantee safety of lives and property.

He thanked the Alapomu and his Chiefs for giving him a rousing welcome.

Before visiting the Alapomu, Kokumo went on a familiarisation tour of police formations in Isokan Local Government Area whose headquarters is Apomu.
