The official website of the Nigerian military has been attacked and successfully taken over by hackers.

News Express logged into the site ( a few minutes ago, only to discover that it has been brought down by hackers.

Rather than display stories, articles and photos as usual, the Homepage now has the dark, hooded image of what appears to be a young man. The Homepage has been turned into black with a marching song loudly playing and the following written message:

!!.. Hacked by Mawakk4Sur ..!!

Hello Admin, You IDIOT=))

Contacted, Director of Defence Information, Brig.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, told News Express: “We’re already handling it.”
