Appeal Court upholds election of Ereyitomi as Warri Rep

The Federal Court of Appeal seating in Benin City, the Edo State capital, on Monday upheld the election of Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi as duly elected member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.

The Federal Court of Appeal while delivering judgment on the appeal brought before it by the former House of representative member, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, kicked out the petition and reaffirmed the earlier verdict of the election tribunal which had declared Hon. Chief Ereyitomi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the Saturday February 23, 2019 poll for House of Representatives seat Warri Federal Constituency seat.

Jubilation greeted the air immediately the pronouncement by the judge that Hon. Ereyitomi is the authentic winner of the poll and duly elected member representing Warri Federal Constituency.
