Detained publisher, activist and politician, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, has declared that there is no going back on the proposed revolution which landed him in trouble with the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
He made the declaration shortly before he was whisked away from the Federal High Court, Abuja premises by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), on Monday, after his arraignment for alleged treasonable felony and sundry offences.
A video clip uploaded by one of Sowore’s lawyers, Inibehe Effiong, National Legal Adviser of the African Action Congress (AAC), of which Sowore was presidential candidate during the 201 elections, showed the SaharaReporters Publisher telling sympathisers: “Don’t worry. We’re on top of this. We’re gonna have a revolution whether they like it or not.”
Sowore, whose previous bail was not honoured by the DSS, has been remanded in the custody of the secret police pending the hearing of a fresh bail application on Thursday, October 3, 2019.
