Dreaded alleged serial killer, Gracious David West, is singing like a canary hours after his arrest by the police in Rivers State.

Tweets later yesterday by the Nigeria Police Force did not only confirm arrest of the 26-year-old alleged killer from Buguma LGA of the state and member of the Degbam cult group but also gave updates on efforts to unravel the full extent of his atrocities. Below are some of the tweets:

“The notorious serial killer, Gracious David West was today September 19, 2019 arrested by the @policeNG in Rivers.”

“The 26-year old killer from Buguma LGA of Rivers State, who is also a member of the Degbam cult group was arrested along East-West Road enroute to Uyo from Port Harcourt. He has since made useful statements to the Police.”

“Investigation is on with a view to ascertaining his motives and possible accomplices. The Commissioner of Police Rivers State, CP Mustapha Dandaura will be briefing the media on this significant Police breakthrough tomorrow, September 20, 2019.”

News Express learnt that the “useful statements” made to the police by Gracious David West – who was arrested shortly after a News Express story that unmasked him was published yesterday morning – included the number of people he has killed in Rivers and neighbouring Imo state. He is said to have confessed to killing five ladies in Rivers and seven in Imo.
