Crisis hit Lagos State on Wednesday, as Nigerians Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) members staged a protest, and rejected the choice of popular Oahodi union member, Musiliu Akinsanya, popuularly known as MC Oluomo as the caretaker chairman.
Tension mounted in many parts of the NURTW unit in Lagos as hundreds of members of the union marched out in protesting to the Lagos State secretariat in Alausa, Lagos State.
Tribune Online gathered that the protest came as a result of the decision of the national headquarters of the union to dissolve the state council on Tuesday.
The protesting members said they were also kicking against the choice of popular Oshodi union member ,Musiliu Akinsanya , popularly known as Oluomo as the caretaker chairman . (Nigerian Tribune)
